Terms of Service

Effective: January 2026

These Terms of Service govern your relationship with Solara Painting. By scheduling a service, signing a proposal, or engaging with our team, you agree to these terms.
Scope of Work

Solara Painting provides residential and commercial painting and related services as detailed in each client's written proposal. All project specifications—including scope, materials, colors, and pricing—are documented and approved before work begins.

Changes to Project Scope

If you request modifications after work has started, we will provide a revised estimate or change order. Additional work proceeds only after your written approval.

Pricing and Payment

Estimates: Written estimates are based on information gathered during consultation and remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted. Pricing may be adjusted if unexpected conditions are discovered.

Deposits: A deposit secures your place on our schedule. Remaining balances are due upon project completion unless alternative arrangements are documented in writing.

Payment Methods: We accept credit cards, checks, and electronic payments. Returned checks may incur additional fees.

Scheduling

We make every effort to begin and complete projects on schedule. Weather, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances may affect timelines. We will communicate any changes promptly.

Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide access to the work area, ensure a clear workspace, and secure pets and personal belongings before work begins.

Materials and Workmanship

Solara Painting uses premium, eco-friendly paints and materials unless you specify otherwise.

Workmanship Warranty: We stand behind our work. Any defects resulting from application errors will be corrected at no charge within the warranty period stated in your proposal.

Exclusions: Warranties do not cover normal wear, structural movement, moisture-related issues, or damage from external factors.

Property Protection

Our team uses drop cloths, tape, and protective coverings to safeguard your property. We recommend removing fragile or valuable items before work begins.

Liability: Solara Painting is fully licensed and insured. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions such as rot, moisture damage, or unstable surfaces.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations: You may cancel services with written notice. Deposit refunds or transfers depend on timing as outlined in your proposal.

Rescheduling: Please provide advance notice if you need to reschedule so we can adjust accordingly.

Project Completion

Upon completion, we conduct a final walkthrough to ensure work meets our quality standards. Final payment is due once you approve the completed project.

Communications

By contacting us through our website, phone, or email, you consent to receive service-related communications, estimates, and project updates.

Limitation of Liability

Solara Painting is not liable for delays, indirect damages, or issues arising from circumstances beyond our control, including weather, supply shortages, or pre-existing structural defects.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and apply to future projects.
